Hopefully every woman in the world knows what Lululemon is, and if you don’t, you can’t sit with us…… Haha! Just kidding, but seriously, EVERY woman in the world should know what Lululemon is. It is by far, so far, the BEST work out clothes on the planet…. (Hence the ‘lemons’ part of the name of my blog) Ok, that may be an exaggeration but I have tried a lot of exercise clothes and no one can even come close in comparison. Not only do their pants fit like a glove, but they have certain moisture wicking fabric that keeps sweat from showing, it stretches four ways (not sure which four ways but that’s what they say!), and it has incredible coverage and support. I got turned on to Lululemon over 5 years ago by my good friend Carly. She started working for them when she lived in Canada (they’re a Canadian company) and she couldn’t say enough amazing things about them (now she’s a manager at the Scottsdale Quarter location which is my FAVE!). I was really into CrossFit around that time and I noticed that pretty much everyone that does CrossFit wears them, and as soon as I tried them out I was instantly hooked! They have several different style of pants, sport bras, dresses, tees and tanks galore! They certainly have something for everyone. My favorites are their full on luon high times crops, groove pant iii , energy sports bra, swiftly tech tops (short and long sleeved), just to name a few. I just recently bought this scuba hoodie and this amazing sports bra, IN LOVE! All of their work-out gear has the moisture wicking technology and they’re also designed not to STINK! Yep, I said it, because sweat doesn’t smell like roses people.
Their clothes aren’t cheap, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for. They don’t necessarily have sales, but they do periodically have mark downs. As a matter of fact, every time I’ve been in a store from here to California, to New York, they’ve all had at least one section of markdowns…. SCORE! I’m also a big fan of Athleta, but for some reason their workout pants don’t fit me like Lululemon does. Their price point is very similar and they do tend to have more markdowns more often, but in my experience, they’re sizes aren’t as consistent. Lululemon also has mens wear, where I have not seen any mens clothes in Athleta. I always recommend trying their stuff on before you buy, just in case. I also mentioned in one of my earlier blog posts that one of their team members once gave me the advice to try on their pants and then bend over in the mirror to check everything out…Well, this is totally up to you, but if you’re ever in a downward dog, you’re gonna want to know what’s goin on back there because everyone else behind you will! 😉 BEND AND SNAP LADIES!
I obviously have a Lululemon OBSESSION and you should too, but if you haven’t tried their clothes, I highly recommend you do and let me know what you think!
P.S. This weekend I was at the Tanger Outlets in Glendale and they have a Lululemon Outlet there… Just sayin 😉
