Happy Monday! Once again, it’s been a minute (or two) since I’ve posted anything here. I thought when my kids got older things would slow down and it wouldn’t be so hectic?… boy was I WRONG! (BTW:This picture has really nothing to do with this post but I love it and wanted to share it)
Life lately has been crazy as usual. This last weekend EllaBleu had her entire volleyball team over for a sleep over and I freaking forgot to get pictures! UGH, I hate that I am such a space case! It was so easy and fun, the (10) girls were drama free and all got along so well, thank you Jesus for a peaceful night!
Today the kids had no school so Ella and I went to a Barre class and lunch and had such a fun time together. I love little moments of special individual time with my kids, it helps our relationship so much. I actually just started reading a book called “Loving Our Kids on Purpose” (you can find it here). IT. IS. SO. GOOD! It’s all about your relationship with your child being the number one priority as oppose to how they act or what they do and making sure your connection is healthy. When I first started reading this book I thought to myself “no way, this is not a book for me!” because it kind of started off talking about how our kids should not be afraid of punishment when they do something wrong. I was thinking “oh yes they should!!!!!” but I’m glad I continued to read it because it actually really makes sense and now I see where the author is coming from, it was just a hard pill to swallow at first (for me). I highly recommend this book for EVERY parent. It’s also very practical and not a very long book which is a win win for me!
If you follow along on my IG, you might know that I have just started getting into the ‘oil business’. I know what you’re thinking, “Oh, here we go again, another stay at home mom getting sucked into the MLM crap and now her IG will be flooded trying to sell me more sh#& !” But I promise you, I would never ever ever ever do this if I didn’t believe in the product! I’ve done essential oils now for a few years but have recently made the switch to Young Living and I’m LOVING it so much, like, SO MUCH! Not only do I love the products, but I LOVE the community and the team I’m on. Shoot me an email if you have any questions about the products (firstname.lastname@example.org) and you can follow along on my oils and wellness journey on my new oily instagram page here. I hope to see you there!
I’ve talked so much abut consistency and organizations on here, it’s something I have struggled with my whole entire life. Sometimes I seriously question if I’m bi-polar or something. Not because of my moods (ok, maybe that too, hello PMS!) but because I’m constantly getting distracted and on to something else. It drives me freaking insane.I seriously can’t even keep up with myself. But, with that said, I’m determined to get consistent and organized, even if it’s just 50% more than I am now I think that would be a huge success. Any other moms out there who struggle with this? If so, send me all the tips and tricks!
I just started planning our family vacation to Colorado and we are SO excited! I’m a little behind this year (clearly my lack of organization is the reason why!) but this time we are spending the majority of our time in Breckinridge! Have you been? If so, tell me ALL the things! We’re starting our trip off in Moab, Utah (super cool town) and then heading to Breckinridge, then we will finish our trip up in our favorite town, DURANGO. WOOT WOOT! I would love some tips on where to eat, and what to see etc. while in Breckinridge. We’re planning on some lake visits with the kayaks and bike rides galore!
Our kitchen is FINALLY done! Its actually been done for a couple of months but I wanted to make sure my shelves were decorated and such before I posted any pictures here. I will get that post up asap! I’ll also be posting some summer must haves in the next few days. I’ve really been trying to cut down on my spending but there are such cute trends right now, I can’t wait to share them with you!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a blessed week!
