Hi guys! It’s been a minute! And if it feels like I fell off the face of the earth… let me tell you, I kinda did! Or at least it feels like I did! My Instagram account was deleted and though I’m desperately trying to get it back, it doesn’t look good and I’m SO sad about it! I worked really hard on that account and I miss connecting with all of you. In the mean time I created a whole new account under @louiesandlemons . So if you find me over there and see some repeated pictures from the past, it’s because 1. those are my faves and 2. I can’t let that hard work just go down the tubes! (insert ALL the crying emojis!) I also feel like the quote on this post is so perfect, even though I’m so bummed my IG is gone, I’m not going to let it ruin my day! 😉
So since I haven’t been on here in way too long and my IG account is gone, this is where I will be spending a lot more time, yay! I’m actually really excited to get back into writing on here and updating this website because even though IG is where I hung out most often, this website is my baby and clearly needs some attention. I was not planning on making this post a life lately post but I guess it feels appropriate since that seems to be the direction this post is heading, haha! So with that said here we go!
Currently, I’m sitting in our motorhome in my parents driveway in PHX! Exciting right?!! Ella has a 3 day volleyball tournament down here this weekend so we’re covering the basis, seeing family and getting some use out of the RV. Life certainly has not slowed down around here. Austin gets his drivers license next month and its really freaking weird! Also, Graysons 13th birthday is today, WHAT?! I met Matt when Grayson was 5 and it’s crazy how fast time goes. I’m so grateful I get to be a part of his life and watch him grow into such a sweet young man.
Recently we started attending a new church and we just LOVE it! We have enjoyed every single second of it. We were invited to a small group with some friends of ours right off the bat and it feels like a little family already. Thank the Lord! We’ve struggled for the past few years looking for a church where we really felt at home, and there’s so many (non-denomination) options where we live. We have learned so much about the bible in just the few times we have been to the new church and everyone is so welcoming and kind. Its amazing when things happen like this where the pieces just all fall together so well.
I started working one day a week and the first day I was there I knew my heart was full! I was wishing I could be there every.single.day….. until I got home and was exhausted and my feet hurt and the house was a mess and dinner needed to be cooked and laundry needed to be done and and and…… then I realized how grateful I was that I was only working one day a week, haha! I really don’t know how I did it being a single mom working 5-6 days a week, that s*%t is stressful!!
I think that’s about all of the “exciting” news I have for you but one other thing I wanted to share was some of my favorite bible studies as of late.
Seamless– I did this bible study a few months back and I will soon do it again. I learned SO much about the bible and mostly about the Old Testament. I can’t tell you enough how much I loved this!
Finding I AM– Lysa TerKeurst is the president of Proverbs 31 Ministries and she is such an inspirational, down to earth and relatable woman. She wrote this bible study about how Jesus (and only Him) can fulfill the cries of our heart. I’m currently doing this study and again, I have learned SO much!
Armor of God– a friend of mine shared this with me and it sounds SO good! I actually just ordered this and can’t wait to dive into it! Anything that shares how we can equip ourselves with Gods armor, I’m all ears!
I linked all of the studies above and you can simply click on the highlighted title to check them out. I hope you enjoys these as much as I have and I can’t wait to hear your feedback!!
