A few weeks back, Matt and I went on a business trip to Tucson. We somehow managed to find three different places for our four VERY different children, so it kind of turned into a mini vacation! Woo hoo! We decided to stay at the Westin Resort at La Paloma and it was gorgeous! Awesome customer service, amazing pools and delicious room service… Not to mention the morning buffet and Sunday brunch buffet… AMAZE BALLS!
We brought our mountain bikes down with us “just in case” and we ended up going on a 15.5 mile ride on Saturday. That was not planned, I still have a sore a*# from that ride and I can’t wait to do it again.
And of course when you have a vacation in ANY sense of the word, you gotta throw some SHOPPING in there.. Am I right girls?! Matt and I were headed out for sushi and stumbled across La Encantada shopping center. What a gem! They had everything from Louis Vuitton to the Humane Society (seriously)… We ate at RA and it was ok, but I’m not gonna lie, I have had better. After dinner we ended up at Lululemon and Matt decided to go get some more gelato while I “look around”. I have to say, that Lululemon was AWESOME! The girls were super friendly and the store was very shop-able. One of the employees even gave me a tip on trying pants. She said to bend over in the mirror to make sure everything fits perfectly….Ummm, wait, did she really just say that?! You want me to bend over and come back up? I just ate too much bad sushi and pigged out on gelato, that is NOT HAPPENING! I grabbed some high waisted, full on coverage, stuff everything in, wunder under crops, a mint green swiftly tech top and I was outta there before you could say BEND AND SNAP! I came out looking around and Matt was no where to be found…. I look to the left and what do you know, theres my other BFF Louis Vuitton, but of course Matt wasn’t in there because surely he knows better… I look to my right and low and behold there’s a Tiffany’s right there! No way he’s in there….. But wait….. I look in the window and what do ya know, h
e is right there checking out diamond earrings! Yep, I am blessed with such an incredible man I get to call my husband… And no, he did NOT buy me those $10,000 earnings I tried on. A girl can only wish right?! If you haven’t visited a Tiffanys, I recommend you do, even just for fun. Their history is so neat and their story is one of a kind, plus they have really cool stuff that you get to try on… FOR FREE!
So, I know I mentioned this was a business trip (side picture), and it was. But the REAL business was done at La Ecantada shopping center.
Thanks for the amazing weekend honey!
