Well… It’s officially 2018! Can you freaking believe it?! Thinking back about 2017 and all it brought is so overwhelming that I almost forget all that’s occurred. For starters, Hudson started preschool 3 days a week instead of just 2, that was harder for me than it was for him, and he just loves it! Austin turned 15 and EllaBleu is officially a teenager… Grayson also started 6th grade which means we no longer have ‘elementary’ aged kids, just teenagers and a toddler (insert eye roll here). I feel like so much happened this last year but it went by so fast that the little details (which often are most memorable and important) are lost in a fog. Does anyone else out there feel like time is just whizzing by?!
Here are a few some what tangible things I’m thankful for in 2017:
Our Motor Home- every time I go in there the smell of it brings back so many amazing family memories. I never in my wildest dreams would think I would say this, but, I LOVE our motorhome vacations! This year we visited CA, CO, and UT
My grandparents old/my dad’s new house- my dad moved into my late grandparents home a couple of years ago and I actually haven’t been there much. But this year we have been a few times and parked our RV in the front (theres large driveway thank God!) We have so many amazing memories there and they all come back as soon as we pull into the driveway.
Blue Bloods- Matt and I became hooked on this show and I really hope this is not the last season!
High School sports- Austin is a freshman this year and he has been involved in sports since the beginning. He never played football or wrestled before, but he went out there and gave it a shot. It’s been so fun watching him be part of a team and meet new people. I’m so proud of him!
Peloton- Ok, I technically got my bike in 2016 but I appreciate it more now than ever! Serious, this thing has saved my life on the days I just need a quick, good, sweaty workout!
As we ring in the New Year my hope is for our country to come together, we seem so divided. I pray for the sick to be healed and for Gods grace to be felt. I’m thankful for so much more than I listed above, more importantly I am thankful for God and His provision, and for my sweet family and friends. I pray you all have the most wonderful year and make sweet memories that last a life time. Thank you for following along with me not this blogging journey, I look forward to seeing what God has planned for Louies and Lemons this year!
